Q. What experience and/or education do you have in medical billing?

A. We have been practicing as a medical billing company since 1999,
working first hand with insurance companies. We have experience processing medical and dental claims, authorizations, worker's compensation and medical examiner to working in private practice as an office manager and with a billing agency. We consider medical billing as

 

our profession, therefore we believe continued education by seminars, teleconferences, and sound communication skills with our clients and colleagues are essential to maintain a strong foundation.

Q. Is your company HIPPA compliant?

A. Yes, we understand the importance of your patient's privacy. Our software meets HIPPA standards for formatting and claims submission.

Q. What type of information do you need from us to process claims?

A. The following information can be copied and mailed, e-mailed, or faxed - whichever works efficiently for your practice

  • patient intake forms
  • insurance card
  • a daily log or superbills for services rendered
  • insurance check with explanation of benefit
  • authorization letter if it pertains to the services we are providing for your practice

Q. How frequently will our services be submitted to insurance for reimbursement?

A. This is based on how frequent you provide your daily log or superbills. It is essential to establish a routine for submitting this data so it does not impact your financially. We recommend minimum weekly submission.

Q. What is your fee?

A. Typically it is a percentage or per claim submission. This would vary based on doctor's specialty and services you elect for our company to provide.
